The California Civic Media Program is committed to making the application process as accessible as possible. Whether you are applying for the first time or have questions along the way, support is available in multiple formats throughout the application period.
Join program staff for live applicant support office hours throughout the application process. These sessions provide an opportunity to ask questions about eligibility requirements, application sections, required documentation, FTE calculations, and navigating the Temelio application portal.
Weekly Office Hours are held every Tuesday at 2:00 PM PT.

On June 16, 2026, the California Civic Media Program hosted the “Train the Trainer” Webinar session, a partner training built for coalitions and regional partners.
This session equipped organization to support the newsrooms and community members in their network as they explore the program, check their eligibility, and apply with confidence.
