Train the Trainer Webinar
On June 16, 2026, the California Civic Media Program hosted the “Train the Trainer” Webinar session, a partner training built for coalitions and regional partners.
This session equipped organization to support the newsrooms and community members in their network as they explore the program, check their eligibility, and apply with confidence.
In this recording, we walk you through how the program works, tour the resources available to your coalition, and answer your questions directly.

Technical Assistance Webinar
This webinar session walked participants through everything they need to know to apply to the California Civic Media Program.
Program staff covered the application timeline (open July 6 – August 21, 2026, at 12:00 PM PT), eligibility requirements, and key steps in the application process.
Attendees also learned about available resources and had the opportunity to get any additional questions answered during the Q&A session.
